Worked across the country and in Alaska as a Registered Nurse for close to 40 years. Currently volunteer occasionally at Kachemak Bay Campus of UAA to assist with nursing students. Developed and wrote column "Heart of the Alaska Nurse" for the Alaska Nurses Association publication "Alaska Nurse" from 2010-2012. Current contributor to Alaska Professional Nurses Association column, "Nurses of the Greatland."

Author of three children's books, three Alaskan mystery novels (currently writing 4th mystery novel), and wrote two modern Alaska Tales.
Frequent contributor to quarterly, "Alaska Women Speak."
Have written two children's books as fundraisers for Alaska non-profits.
Daughter of newspaperwoman who taught me to spell and would cringe to see how much I've forgotten. Married for 44 years to the man who inspires me.
