Favorite Places in Alaska:
I am torn between two places--the the inlets and passages of SE Alaska and the ocean, hills, streams, and valleys of the Seward Peninsula.
Bio:
I came to Alaska from the Puget Sound area in 1961 and for ten years combined teaching and salmon trolling, mainly in Southeast. I moved to Western Alaska in 1971, again to teach, also adult education and administration. Summers have been mainly setnet fishing near Nome, other subsistence, and lots of hiking, cross-country skiing. I'm always writing. Currently I have a manuscript being reviewed by a University Press: "Rough Waters: Our North Pacific Small Fishermen's Battle for Survival; a Fishing Family's Perspective"
