Bio: Born and raised in Fairbanks, I have lived in Juneau for the past 30 years where I was a family doctor until I retired and turned to writing. I have an M.A. in English from UAF and was on the faculty there for a few years in the early 1970s. My husband and I spend March and September in the Kantishna Hills where we have owned a cabin since our days at UAF.
