My greatest passion is to help others find their voices. Trained as a debate and public speaking coach, I have worked as an instructor with students in high school, college, and the community since 1979. In 2002, I coached the national champion university parliamentary debate team. I am the founder of the Alaska Native Oratory Society (AkNOS). My writing reflects humanity's struggle to assert ideas AND resolve conflict in a society that would rather ignore or resist such effort.
Works included in 8 anthologies including Pushcart Prize (2000); Best of Pushcart Prize (2004), Travelers' Tales Alaska (2003); Crosscurrents North (2008); Book of the Tongass (1999); Wild Moments (2007); Cold Flashes (2008)
