Bio: William J. (Bill) Hauser grew up in Wisconsin and received his bachelors degree in Zoology at the University of Wisconsin followed by a MS in Fish and Wildlife Management at Montana State University and PhD in Zoology at the University of Maine. He has been involved in fisheries studies for 44 years including 30 years in Alaska. He retired from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game in 2002.
