Paul Greci's debut novel, Surviving Bear Island, is forthcoming from Move Books in March 2015. It is a 2015 Junior Library Guild Selection and is set in Prince William Sound. Paul works as a Special Education Teacher in Fairbanks. Previously he was the Lead Teacher for Youth Education Support Services, a school for at-risk teenagers. He has also led backpacking trips for teens at Camp Habitat, worked as a Naturalist in several Outdoor Education Programs and has done field-work on the Togiak and Arctic Refuges. He has lived in Fairbanks for twenty-five years.
