Bio:Annie Boochever is a life-long Alaskan and an award-wining elementary music teacher, and librarian. In addition to many musical plays for children, Annie is the author of Bristol Bay Summer, a middle-grade novel scheduled for publication by Alaska Northwest Books May 1, 2014. She is currently under contract to Sealaska Heritage Institute to create Our Ancestor's Stories: Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian Reader's Theaters, scheduled for publication in Fall, 2014. Her poem "Sestina to Paul Allen's Yacht" was selected to represent Alaska in the young adult literary journal, YARN's April issue.
Annie has a Master's of Fine Arts in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults from the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts. She is a newly retired teacher and lives in Juneau, with her husband, Scott Miller, and dog, Zz.
